API 600 Standard ASTM Steel Stainless Steel Bellow Sealed Globe Valve For Thermic Oil Use
The opening and closing mechanism of this globe valve features a plug-shaped valve disc with flat or conical sealing surfaces. The valve disc moves linearly along the centerline of the valve seat, enabling precise control over various fluid types including air, water, steam, corrosive media, mud, oil, liquid metal, and radioactive substances. This design makes the valve ideal for cutting, regulating, and throttling applications.
The bellow sealed globe valve's key component is the metal bellows, which is automatically welded at the lower end to the valve stem assembly and at the upper end to the connecting plate. This creates a metal barrier between the fluid medium and atmosphere, ensuring zero leakage at the valve stem. Designed specifically for pipelines carrying steam, flammable, explosive, or hazardous media, this valve maintains reliable performance even when bellows are compromised, thanks to its secondary packing system.
